Pronounced “hai-dran-juh,” hydrangeas have graced the Earth for millions of years and are loved around the world. With over 75 species — six of which are commonly found in North American gardens — these showstopping flowers are as diverse as they are beautiful. Each colour is said to carry its own meaning, from gratitude and pride to purity and romance, making them a timeless favourite among friends and floral enthusiasts alike.
Treat yourself to a vibrant splash of spring before nature begins its full bloom outdoors. The hydrangea display is on through June 1.
Admission to the Floral Showhouse is $8 per adult and $5 per child. Children two and under are free.
